Adenoidectomy
Adenoidectomy is a type of surgery that involves removing the adenoids which are tissue lumps located at the back of the nasal passage above the roof of the mouth. Adenoids form part of the immune system and help combat infections by trapping harmful germs such as bacteria and viruses.
